National Day of Action

Today, is not only the first day of Summer, it is the National Day of Action. The United Way is encouraging individuals, families, and businesses across the nation to take action and do something good for their community. Sponsored community projects include campaigns to end child obesity and promote healthy lifestyles, sponsored food drives, donating to Gulf Oil spill relief funds, and volunteering at local libraries and Boys and Girls Clubs. There are endless possibilities of how you, your family, business or organization can help. The important thing is to take action today!
